Stole my heart tonight.

I just finished watching this old BBC show called Ghost Watch. It was really interesting.

It was made by the BBC in 1992, well before Blair Witch Project, before reality TV, before Paranormal Activity/Quarantine, digital filmmaking, all of that. It’s a mockumentary about an all night investigation of a suburban haunted house, presented as a live TV broadcast. It starts out slow & a little cheesy but builds to a pretty cool climax with some surprisingly effective scares. Apparently the BBC got into a lot of trouble for it, because a lot of the Brits watching were convinced it was real.

Must’ve been especially ground breaking when it was first aired. Pretty impressed by it, I gotta say.
